⚠️ Warning: It is strictly forbidden to wash the bike with high-pressure washers (e.g., Karcher) aimed directly at the battery. A strong water jet can break the seals and damage the electronics. The battery is not fully waterproof.

Troubleshooting Q: The LCD display on the battery is not working, but the battery charges and the vehicle runs. What should I do? A: This is a known issue with LCD displays – the display itself (SoC indicator - State of Charge) may fail while the battery cells function correctly. Symptoms:

Vehicle runs perfectly Solution: The LCD display can be replaced separately – replacing the entire battery is not necessary. Replacement cost is approximately 300 PLN (part + labor). The battery must be sent back for service.
Q: The battery won't turn on after winter/long storage. What should I do? A: If the battery was stored at low temperatures or unused for a long time, the BMS might have entered sleep mode. This happens when the voltage drops to a critical value (below 9.6V). Step by step:

Move the battery to a room with a temperature of 18-20°C.

Q: Is the battery waterproof? A: The battery casing is made of high-quality materials and is splash-resistant, but it is not fully waterproof. Damage to the cover or leaks can lead to water ingress, damaging the cells and BMS. Important: Mechanical damage to the casing and its consequences (flooding) are not covered by the warranty. Q: What does the "BMS communication error" on the Surron dashboard mean? A: This error appears when the battery cannot communicate with the vehicle's factory system. This is a normal phenomenon with older batteries from manufacturers other than Surron. Despite the error, the battery functions correctly, but you won't see the charge level on the standard display. In the battery you are currently viewing, this problem no longer occurs. Solution: You can see the battery charge level on the indicator mounted on the battery. Use the ANT BMS v2 app on your smartphone to monitor all parameters.
